The Titan Corporation T. I. NBP Building 220

Upon substantial completion of Building 220 located in National Business Park, Annapolis Junction, Maryland, Riparius Construction began the tenant improvements of the entire facility, totaling 156,161 sf, for Corporate Office Properties Trust's tenant – The Titan Corporation. All five floors of the building were completely built-out. The theme of the construction was to build a secure building, with multiple secure conference rooms, and a secure auditorium for The Titan Corporation. The technology items included in the building involved: Data telecom, AV system, Security system, and Telephone systems, all of which had to be completed within a six-month time period. The building also included the following brief summary of significant items: a huge visual package in the highly secure auditorium using a 20' x 15' plasma screen TV, SCIF construction in many areas throughout the building, and an upscale lighting fixture package throughout the building. The scope of work was amended during construction to include the underground infrastructure necessary to link this building with other Titan locations, as well as to the nearby Federal facilities. RCI, with its expertise in national defense contracts, participated in the design and implementation of this system.
